Cancellation Policy: A valid VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card will secure your reservation. At the time we accept your reservation we charge your credit card for the first night’s stay. At the 30th day or less prior to your arrival, your credit card may charged for the balance of your entire stay. If you cancel within 30 days prior to your reserved stay with us, you will be responsible for all room nights you reserved. You are only reimbursed for those room nights rebooked. A 10% cancellation fee applicable to the entire reserved stay will be deducted from your reimbursement regardless of whether the room is rebooked. You are responsible for all reserved room nights regardless of delayed check-in or early checkout. A reservation for multiple rooms and room nights requires payment for the entire stay in advance and is non-refundable.

Carl and Susan Silvernail, owners and innkeepers personally manage Otters Pond Bed and Breakfast as an adult retreat; a place of respite and serenity. We are committed to providing a relaxed, tranquil setting. Our Island offers spectacular natural beauty and a community enjoying the varied activities of northwest living. We network with restaurants, kayak and bicycle outfitters, naturalists, artists and others to provide you with information and services for everlasting memories.

Sumptuous-breakfast seating can be on the pond-side deck or in the dining room as you choose. We specialize in gourmet breakfasts featuring delectable food products of our island region. Special consideration for dietary needs is part of our attention to detail so please let us know your special needs when you make reservations. A few other tidbits: We are proud to be a non-smoking B&B residence--smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property; Our special little Pomeranian friend Bubby asks that you leave your pets in loving care elsewhere ( we have a wonderful kennel on the Island and would be happy to assist you). Children: Accommodations for children are not available at this time.

We are shoeless inside the inn and we provide comfortable, clean slippers for you or you may bring your own. Television is available only in the Goldfinch Room and in the common area for special events only (our aim is to provide a quiet escape). We provide music CDs of island artists in our rooms and in our common areas.

Mobility Impairment? We have several long stairs in the B&B. Our B&B is not suitable for anyone with impaired mobility that makes stair climbing risky or potentially dangerous. Call us if you have concerns.
